Embroidery Wizard was founded in August 2001 in Battle Creek Michigan and offered quality custom embroidery and direct to garment printing services. Linda and Bill combined their talents to create the business.  Linda is the creative genius and operates the machines and Bill does sales and marketing. It started as a home base business and according to plan moved to a storefront location at a large mall in 2003. After one year in a 200 square foot location they expanded to an 1800 square foot store. In 2006 the business was relocated to Lansing, Michigan where they purchased their own 2000 square foot building. They were voted “Best of” both Battle Creek and Lansing.

In 2016 Bill and Linda retired from their full-time jobs and moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina where they returned to a home-based business model to reduce overhead costs. They were voted “Best of the Beach” three times. In 2018 after Hurricane Florence they donated al proceeds from their “Survivor” t-shirts to a disaster relief fund in Myrtle Beach. In Spring 2020 during the Covid-19 surge they made and donated 2500 masks to local health care facilities and homeless shelters. In July 2021 they relocated to Ocala Florida to On Top of the World and retained the home-based business model.

 

Embroidery Wizard has several target markets. It primarily caters to business clients, organizations, schools, etc. for apparel needs such as t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies to jackets. Also, other items such as bags, totes, briefcases, hats, etc are available. They also do apparel for events and special occasions, as well as a variety of personalized gifts for all occasions such as birthdays, reunions, weddings, baby showers, school events/outings, church groups, etc.. Custom pillows, throws, towels, golf towels, beach blankets, bags and totes and more are available to their customers. They have several major suppliers with 15,000 different items available to decorate with embroidery or garment printing. They stock nearly 200 different colors of thread for embroidery and can color match designs with over another 100 colors available from their supplier.

 

The direct to garment printing process allows them to print t shirts. The garment printing process dyes the fabric so the final product will never fade; or peel or crack like screen print. They can do full color designs on white and ash gray t- shirts and multicolor designs on light color t-shirts. There are no minimums. They also have a vinyl cutter and do etched glass, vinyl decals, t shirts, make decorative wooden signs as well as a mug press with the ability to make custom dishwasher safe mugs.

 

Embroidery Wizard can also do design services. Just provide an idea and they can do the rest. They will come to the customer with catalogs, samples and ideas. They have no minimums, free delivery, quick turnaround and offer customer friendly professional service.
